In many places and circles, a stigma still surrounds smoking the weed. Along with so many other things, I'm over that. Between its medicinal qualities and its killing millions fewer people than alcohol, you're in the wrong place if you think it should be illegal. So roll one for yourself, and maybe a friend, and smoke a joint like Fredible is. Your day will probably get better.
About me and why this design exists: I've been a cannabis consumer in some form or fashion for a large portion of my life. It's led to some negatives over these past 20+ years, but mostly it's been a blessing, especially over the past few years. I'm not ashamed of it, and I think the stigma behind its use needs to go. Feel free to reach out if you disagree; I'm happy to explain further if you want!
Weed should be legal. I mean, obviously. If you have no issue with alcohol being legal but are against the legalization of cannabis, I would love to hear your logic because I think that's an absurd opinion. I also believe that if you're reading this, you probably agree, so I'm not going to argue with hypothetical haters.
I struggled with excessive binge drinking/alcoholism for most of my life, and without weed, I'd probably be dead or in jail. The fact that there are 40,000 Americans (not surprisingly, a disproportionate amount of which are people of color) in prison for non-violent weed-related crimes while Goop is doing Netflix shows illustrating how great cannabis is for your wellness is bullshit.
So let's get rid of the stigma that still exists in many places and be super comfortable in this sweatshirt.
