Where it came from
It started as a watch for James Murphy.
LCD Soundsystem has been my favorite band for about fifteen years. This August they played Edgefield, about twenty minutes from our shop, so I built James Murphy a watch with a dial cut from real iron meteorite. I called it the Disco Infiltrator, after the song, 3D printed a disco ball big enough to hold it, and handed it to his crew at the show.
When that watch was done it was so good I couldn't stand giving away the only one, so I built myself one almost like it. That's the Disco-Baller.
Every dial is a different slice of meteorite, etched so the pattern that formed while it cooled over millions of years comes through. No two are alike.

Conversation Starter!
I've been a big fan of Mr. Eatwell for quite some time and have most of his pieces, but the one that gets the most attention and praise from friends and stranger is my Carpal DM!! What an attention grabber with its beautiful dial and case. I always want to wear it at the expense of all the others I have.....it's a great problem to have.

I grabbed the 43mm SubMeloner. What a great watch and a beautiful design all around. Size: I have an 8.5” wrist and extended the glide lock on the oyster bracelet to its maximum which allows about a finger of space between it and my wrist. If you have a larger wrist, it would be wise to measure before ordering. If you are below 8.5”, order with confidence. (I could not make the 21mm rubber strap work for me.) Shipping: I expected the watch and the shipping to take quite a while, but was pleasantly surprised by how quick it was at my door. The pink box that it shipped in was beat to hell, but the team did a great job of packing it and shipping the watch in a fantastic case. It arrived in perfect condition. Great watch for a great value. All of the little details around the watch make it feel even more special. I have already made a couple outreaches to Matt through Instagram and the website form to inquire about a custom design for my next one, but haven’t heard back yet. Guessing many of you are already lined up with orders and he and the team might be overwhelmed. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.

Still waiting
Been over a month and I’m still waiting on the video I paid for. Matt ghosted the first 4 messages I sent, then finally replied saying he only had to do a couple edits and was “going through it” Felt bad so I backed off for 2 weeks but after seeing him post story after story on Instagram, I had enough. If you’ve got time to make reels and stories, you got time to finish edits and send videos your customers PAID for. Still waiting on a reply, video and or refund. Buyer beware.
