How to Use Your Mr. Eatwell
Setting the time, winding the crown, adjusting your bracelet, and everything else you need to know about your watch. If anything feels off, e-mail helpme@mreatwell.com and we'll get you sorted.
Setting the Time
- Unscrew the crown counter-clockwise (if screw-down) until it springs out.
- Pull the crown out one click for the date, two clicks for the time.
- Rotate to set. Push back in fully and screw down clockwise to seal.
Winding It Up
Automatic movements wind themselves as you wear them. If your watch has been sitting for a couple of days, give the crown 30–40 turns clockwise (in the closed position) to get it running, then wear it a few hours to fully wind.
Bracelet Sizing
Your watch ships with the bracelet at full length. Use the included bracelet adjustment screwdriver to remove links from the side opposite the clasp until it fits with a finger's width of slack. Detailed walk-through is in the video above.
Strap Swap (Quick-Release)
Every Mr. Eatwell case takes 20mm quick-release spring bars — slide the small lever on the spring bar with a fingernail to pop the band off, drop a new strap in, and click it home. No tools needed.
Water & Care
Stainless and rubber straps handle water just fine — leather does not. Always make sure the crown is fully screwed down before getting wet. Rinse with fresh water after pool or ocean swims to keep the case clean.
Warranty & Service
Every watch is covered by a 2-year warranty on movement, dial, hands, and manufacturing defects. Something off? E-mail helpme@mreatwell.com — we fix it for free unless you fuck it up. In which case, we'll still fix it, we'll just charge.
